Sasha Kamen
Lead Biologist
Sasha Kamen is a dedicated biologist based in Ibiza, specializing in the island's snakes, mice, and native flora and fauna. With deep scientific knowledge of herpetology and rodent ecology, she champions ethical, wildlife-centered practices in conservation. Sasha employs humane trapping and monitoring techniques to study invasive snakes and manage mouse populations, while fostering habitat restoration for indigenous plant and animal communities. Her approach ensures research never harms ecosystems—she prioritizes minimal impact and transparency.

Bianca Porcar
Lead Field Hacker
Bianca brings a bold and inventive spirit to her role as Lead Game Hacker at LizardShield. With a sharp mind for strategy and disruption, she leverages her hacking skills to develop innovative snake traps, counter invasive species, and creatively respond to escalating ecological threats. Her work includes navigating complex government programs and turning bureaucratic barriers into breakthrough opportunities. Bianca's deep commitment to protecting Ibiza's native wildlife drives her to push boundaries, challenge systems, and pioneer new defense tactics in the fight to save the island's iconic lizards. Her solutions are fast, unorthodox, and always one step ahead.
Lenka Arnold
Lead Promoter & Fundraiser
Lenka Arnold is a German actress, singer, and narrator—known for her roles in films like Eivissa (Ibiza-set independent feature), Deichbullen, Helen Dorn, Tatort, and SOKO Wismar. She lives between Hamburg and Ibiza, bringing her creative talents to the island's cultural and natural life. From the start, Lenka has dedicated her energy to supporting Ibiza's environment—volunteering to help protect local wildlife. Her passion for animals has fueled countless regenerative ideas and initiatives that benefit the island's ecosystems and communities.

Timotheus Frytag
Lead Logistics & Education Advisor
With 19 years of experience in education and logistics, snake removal, and lizard protection, Timotheus Frytag is the founder of the *Stop Ibiza Snakes* community and serves as Lead Logistics & Education at LizardShield. He has coordinated the deployment of over 800 traps across 145 locations, playing a key role in safeguarding Ibiza's fragile ecosystems. Timotheus designs and manages efficient, scalable logistics systems—overseeing the sourcing, installation, and maintenance of trapping networks. He also leads educational outreach, training local volunteers and authorities in ethical, science-based wildlife practices. Committed to humane and minimally invasive methods, he ensures all interventions are transparent, data-driven, and ecologically responsible. His deep field knowledge and strategic insight keep the team agile, responsive, and grounded in community collaboration. Timotheus's work is central to the expansion of LizardShield's impact and the cultivation of an island-wide culture of ecological stewardship.

Cat Milton is an entrepreneur, ethicist, and former editor-in-chief with over 30 years of experience shaping narratives and strategies. They bring a unique blend of entrepreneurial acumen and ethical clarity to projects that champion environmental stewardship and community well-being.

Dr. Antònia Maria Cirer-Costa
Leading Biologist, Ibiza
Dr. Antònia Maria Cirer-Costa is a distinguished biologist based in Ibiza, with over 50 years of expertise studying the island's endemic Podarcis pityusensis (wall lizards). A Catedrática and PhD in Biological Sciences (1987, UB), she has led pioneering research, authored scientific and popular works, and coordinated the SOS Sargantanes volunteer network to combat invasive snakes An influential communicator, she has presented TEDx talks, press interviews, and educational campaigns advocating ethical, scientifically grounded strategies—trapping, habitat reserves, and public engagement—to restore Ibiza's native fauna and preserve ecological balance.

Hans van den Akker
Lead Executive Advisor
With 20 years of experience in technology and business, Hans has spent the last five on a transformative journey, dedicating himself fully to sustainability and regenerative projects. This shift has deepened his focus on designing systems that restore ecosystems, strengthen communities, and promote circular, resilient ways of living. Drawing on his background in digital innovation, Hans supports nature-aligned solutions—from decentralized infrastructure to regenerative agriculture and thriving local economies. His work is grounded in systems thinking, meaningful collaboration, and a commitment to long-term impact. For Hans, sustainability is more than a goal—it's a guiding principle for how we live, work, and co-create the future.

Lead Network Advisor
With a background in real estate, cleantech, and systemic work, Diederik Laiz brings over a decade of experience guiding complex transformation projects. As Lead Network Advisor, he connects people, ideas, and resources across regenerative ecosystems. His strategic clarity and creative depth support sustainability-driven entrepreneurs in aligning vision with tangible impact. Diederik specializes in translating abstract goals into actionable pathways, especially under uncertainty. From trust-based real estate to cleantech and circular food systems, he empowers collaboration and coherence.
